Have you ever wanted to shed a few pounds and actually keep it off? Have you never shed unwanted weight only to have it come back... plus a few pounds? This is where my story of Shakeology starts.
This summer I decided it was time to lose weight. I made a decision that I was going to lose all of the weight I had gained since college. I had a made this choice several times before without much success. I was up over 45 pounds since college, and I needed to improve by health. I needed to get into shape, lose weight, and get into better physical condition. My cholesterol was up, blood pressure was up, and my weight was way up!
Like I said, I had tried to lose weight several times before, without much success. I had tried nearly every meal replacement drink and protein shake known to man. Shakeology is a meal replacement shake from Team Beachbody, the company that brought you the popular Insanity and P90X videos. Shakeology contains several different vitamins, minerals, and super foods. It also has protein and fiber, without the bad fat and sugar. As I began inquiring about Shakeology, I found out several friends had used or were using Shakeology. One of my very good friends said Shakeology helped him lose over 40 pounds. He also said he felt great while taking it.
I decided to give it a shot. I ordered it through Lindsey Gaines, a friend of ours who is a Team Beachbody Coach. Lindsey loved Shakeology and lost several pounds with it. When my order arrived I was excited to get started. I also ordered a 3 Day Refresh Program as well to get started, but I will save that story for another day (It was amazing!)
I drink my Shakeology each morning, and it helps me to feel great! What is special about Shakeology is that it kills my cravings. Normally when I diet I end up snacking all day. When I drank Slim Fast I was always snacking. With Shakeology, the snacking is gone. I don't sit and eat my way through the day. The amazing thing is, the shakes are only 160 calories!

1. While Shakeology costs money, it actually saves me money each month. When I initially inquired about Shakeology I was hesitant at the $129 cost for a 30 day supply. Then I thought about it further. Where else can I get a $4 meal? I was spending $5 to $6 on breakfast each day, and spending another $2 to $3 a day snacking. After using Shakeology for 30 days I did an analysis. Before Shakeology I spent $144 on breakfast and $81 on snacks. That is $243. That means Shakeology actually put another $114 in my pocket! And actually, as a Team Beachbody Coach, I pay $89 a for a 30 day supply. That means I really put $144 in my pocket!
2. The second benefit is simply the results. The results speak for themselves. I have lost over 25 pounds in just 60 days. I feel as good as I have ever felt! My blood pressure is down and I am in better physical shape than I have been in years. I finally have the energy to exercises on a consistent basis.

As I said before, I became a Team Beachbody coach. Before I can represent a product, I have to use it and believe in it. After using Shakeology for 60 days, I can tell you that I BELIEVE in the benefits. I believe in them so much, that Lindsay talked to me about being a Team Beachbody "coach," and I jumped all in. I used to think I had to be a fitness aficionado to be a Team Beachbody coach. What I learned is that you simply have to have a passion for helping others meet their health and fitness goals, and be willing to support them throughout the ups and downs.
